Childhood - an eternal game of "hide and seek"
Veronika spends her childhood in Upper Bavaria, where she grows up with her beloved mother.
Her father, a priest, only visits occasionally and always remains hidden. The visits she longed for as a child are rare.
The "game of hide-and-seek" becomes more and more of a burden for Veronika and her beloved mother until it takes its toll on her health.
Her father never made an open decision for the two of them.
In her young adult years, Veronika comes to Schönberg, where her life begins to take the right course.
She has now fully arrived here and in her forest.
