Actually, the premiere should already take place in 2020 for the 50th anniversary of the Bavarian Forest National Park. Due to Corona, the premiere will now take place in 2021. The joy about the special birthday present is great: The documentary film "THE WILD FOREST", which has been developed over the past two years, is now almost finished.
"The film is a plea for more wild, untouched nature and thus also for more biodiversity in the fight against climate change," says director Lisa Eder, herself a native "Waidlerin". Almost four years passed from the first idea to its completion. At times, up to four camera teams were on the move at the same time in and around the national park to capture the unique ecosystem on film. The result is not only impressive landscape shots and detailed animal portraits, but also exciting insights into the lives of the people involved with the national park.
