You can also rent e-bikes at some of our tourist information centres. Thanks to these bikes, which are supported by an electric motor, it is also possible for beginners or less trained cyclists to discover the beauty of our unique nature by e-bike. Just ask at the tourist information offices for the appropriate rental, we will be happy to help you. Of course you can also get a lot of information material like our bike map or our pocket guide bike, with which you can ride through our region unerringly.

A special experience for all cyclists is offered by the Genuss-Radwanderweg, which connects the two national parks on a fantastic circular route. Enjoyment" is certainly not too much to promise here: On this cycling trail you can experience the beauties and peculiarities of the national parks. Despite the immediate vicinity, the outstanding natural beauties are often very different due to the relief. While the Bavarian side is dominated by deep, mysterious forests, the Czech Sumava National Park is characterised by extensive plateaus with moors and mountain meadows. If you have cycled the entire 140 kilometres of the trail, you will have experienced all the facets of the low mountain region of the Bavarian Forest and the Bohemian Forest.
THE BEST FOR PLEASURE CYCLISTS.
Of course you can also cycle only parts of the Genussradweg. From the towns in the holiday region, shuttles will take you to the most beautiful sections of the trail. The Großer Arber or the Falkenstein are worthwhile side trips, but also require good physical condition. For trained mountain bikers or with electronic support, the mountain destinations are nevertheless easy to reach.
